Design Objective: Design a living room rug no larger than 12' x 14'. Focus on the color palette and a unique design, then create a floorplan, complete with furniture to showcase your rug.

For this project, I had the vision to create a clean, geometric design that would then break free from the boarder of a typical rug. Muted teal and bright white hexagonal "tiles" are arranged in clean rows and outlined in gold.

To showcase this rug, a small sofa sits opposite a chaise lounge to allow for conversation. The room is completed with a bar cart, record player curio, accent table, and live plants for a comfortable yet swanky entertainment space.
